Season 3
Emily Fox continues being the local "private expert" at solving murder. She is always somehow directly involved (a friend of her sister, the local vintner, etc.) and her budding relationship with the Carabinieri Captain make investigations more of a collaboration than contest. Until it isn't. When Emily's past comes back into her life, who does she trust, and who needs her trust become key questions. This is a nicely paced drama, more relaxing police-work than intense thriller. A nice reprise from the typical high stress offerings in the genre.
3 stars (out of 5)
